After a year of waiting, the 2022 First robotics season kick-off has finally arrived! The morning started with a team pancake breakfast complete with sausage, homemade blueberry syrup and piles of fresh pancakes. As team members continued to arrive, the feeling of excitement leapt from person to person which only heightened the anticipation. Finally, the countdown to the virtual kick-off broadcast reached zero.
This season’s game, Rapid React, has both enthused and inspired Nomad team members to design a robot worthy of a regional championship. The past two days have been filled with Lego prototyping, donut breaks, and in-depth brainstorming sessions which have allowed us to move one step forward in the designing process. Overall, team Nomad is excited to embark on this adventure as a team and to get back on the field of competition!
