FRC Team NOMAD Update – February 2023

NOMADs are deep in the midst of build season 2023. It’s an exciting year for us with this being our first year building and programming swerve drive. The CAD team is nearly finished with our design, mechanical team is busily building field elements and the robot super structure, software has already had great success on our autonomous programming paths, and business has updated the business plan, and customized the new mascot costume. We are working furiously to be ready for our two regionals: Ventura and Las Vegas. Go NOMADS!

What a great day! NOMAD hosted a field trip for 135 elementary school students at the San Diego Regional. The students watched matches, went on a scavenger hunt through the pits, and competed in their own airplane design challenge.
