Team NOMAD is back in the workshop again this weekend! Over the past two days the CAD sub team has been working tirelessly and making progress on our robot design. With laptops sprawled in every direction, the CAD team has been extremely diligent and focused. On the other side of the workshop, however, NOMAD team members have been machining custom parts which will be ready to assemble at the next meeting. Overall Team NOMAD has been making significant progress!
A weekend of NOMAD workshops wouldn’t be complete, however, without a series unique working habits. Since the workshops began, music has been playing nonstop with the selection ranging all the way from Nintendo remixes, to classic 80’s hits! As the cherry on top, NOMAD had a Chick-Fil-A lunch break which was immediately followed by an intense cornhole matches! As the weeks continue to fly by, anticipation and excitement for this season’s competition only increases! NOMAD is excited to compete and return to the field once more!
