Fabworks Sponsorship

Use Code FRC6995 for 5% off your order!

Fabworks partner codes are everywhere on CD, but we’re excited to receive our very own for the 2025 season. Despite our home CNC machining capabilities, some parts are just more effective to outsource. Last year, we used Fabworks for most of the plates on the robot, and this year, we’ve ordered our two copies of the brainpan and battery pan as well as most of our elevator plates through Fabworks.

Thanks so much to Fabworks for their sponsorship! We’re excited to continue working with them.

Anodized Parts

We’d like to thank our local anodizing supplier for generously offering to process our batch of parts for free. Anodizing has been a dream for our team for several years, since black polycarbonate and uncoated aluminum has become our signature robot aesthetic.

Originally, we wanted to fully anodize our manufactured parts, but we limited it to what was produced by that point in the season, so it wouldn’t hold our build process back. We chose to send our box tube stock, brainpan, belly pan, SDS bearing blocks, tube plugs, elevator pulleys and MK4i Competition Swerve Modules over as a result.

In the past, we relied on black polycarbonate paneling and LED diffuser channels for our branding touches. Comparatively, the anodized parts with the uncoated parts in our superstructure assemblies make a huge difference in emphasizing the NOMAD look.

We’re excited for this new step in our robot aesthetics, and we’re working hard to back it up with solid on-field performance.
