This week our team made a lot of progress on our robot. We started off with a few different ideas and prototypes, which we then put to use on our robot just to see how they would work out. We also decided that we were going to be using pneumatics on our robot, so everyone had fun learning how everything worked and finally, after some programming, we were able to get a working grabber mechanism. We are going to use it to pick up and drop the cubes in the competition. Our next goal as a team is to get the camera working on the robot and finish prototyping some modifications that we made to the robot’s design.
